Overview

Listening Ear Merseyside is a community-based charity which provides a free, confidential, non-judgemental reflective listening, counselling and bereavement support service for people within the Merseyside area.

Butterflies is a specialist programme which targets children and young people aged 7 to 16 years experiencing bereavement or other family loss.

Services Provided

The younger service users engage in activity-based support to aid communication.

Support Workers work with young children to help them to deal with their feelings through activities such as drawing, writing, making memory jars and finding ways to get through difficult times.

The Butterflies project for children and young people is open between 4.00pm and 8.00pm on a Thursday and from 2.00pm to 8.00pm on a Friday.
