Jaguar traineeships

    The eight week traineeship programme is designed to support young people aged 18-24 who are not in employment, education or training. Based on the traineeship model, the course will help participants develop skills necessary to pursue apprenticeships or other sustainable employment within the automotive sector.

    The programme will be hosted in the Halewood Education Business Partnership Centre and will help prepare young people for work by providing employability qualifications and functional skills support including work experience at Jaguar Land Rover. Support will also be given for CV writing and interview preparation so candidates can confidently seek employment.

    The launch of this training programme reinforces Jaguar Land Rover’s wider commitment to employability. Young people who prove themselves during their training and are eligible will be offered interviews with Manpower for any available job roles with Jaguar Land Rover, its suppliers or other Manpower clients.

    Traineeships prepare young people for their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready’, in order to be suitable for a traineeship students must meet certain criteria which includes not having achieved a level 2 qualification. ( 5 GCSE’s grade A-C).
