We require this information for funding purposes and to understand your needs to provide you with a better service and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We may use your information to measure the success and impact of the Signpost project and provide this information to our Funders. We will never pass on your information to any commercial organisation.
  • If you registered with Signpost through a Provider (via a Personal Adviser) we may use your information to link back with the provider so we can demonstrate user profiles and circumstances to our funders. This will only happen if you have given your Personal Adviser permission to do so.
  • We may also use the information to improve our services.
  • We may periodically send emails about new services or events which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • If you have submitted a listing with Signpost we may periodically send e-mails to ask you to check the information is still valid and accurate.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
